Where we dive.
We believe the UK offers some of the best diving in the world and we aim to provide a schedule of diving throughout the year so that our members can experience it.
Most club-organised dives are on the south coast of England between Plymouth in the west and Eastbourne in the east. We also try and run one or two trips a year to more distant UK destinations. In the past we have visited marine reserves in Pembrokeshire, The Farne Islands and Cornwall and run wreck weeks at Scapa Flow in the Orkneys.
We also visit inland dive sites for practicing skills, especially over the winter months. Sites include Stoney Cove, Vobster Quay, Chepstow and, for a local, shallow 'dip' Wraysbury.
Newly qualified? New to UK diving?
The club is the ideal environment to 'learn the ropes' of UK diving while in the company of other club members. To facilitate this the club runs a number of 'orientation' boat dives each year to a maximum depth of 18m.
What can you expect from the club?
The club is run by the members and for the members and aims to provide the following:
- An introduction to UK diving
- Opportunities to increase your experience and develop you skills through regular diving
- A framework of organised dives throughout the year
- A social group for diving and non-diving activities
(Please note that we do not provide formal training within the club)
How much is it?
There is a £10 joining fee (see Membership Benefits on Home page) and an annual membership fee. You'll also pay for the cost of any dives you book onto. The club is run as a non-profit organisation so we just aim to cover costs.
