Annual General Meeting, September 4th 2013
Our next meeting will be the AGM where we will recap on the membership year, look forward to the next one, review the financial report and vote on fees for the forthcoming year - please bring your cheque book!
But the most vital part of the AGM is the election of new committee members!
The club is run by the members, for the members. We need members to step forward to add new ideas and energy to the running of the club. Please do not assume that someone else will do it if you don't! If you can help with any of the positions below, full or part time, or would like to talk to someone about taking up a position, please let Eve know at email@example.com .
ALL committee members step down at the AGM. ALL positions are available and need to be filled.
Positions Available 2013-2014
OW/Orientation Dive Organiser
AOW/Club Dive Organiser
Dive Survey Winner
Thank you to all of you who completed the survey. We will publish the findings in the near future but it has already helped to steer new dive trips; the Submarine Weekend has been organised specifically as a result of feedback in the survey.
I can also announce that Graham Shaw is the lucky winner of the complimentary dive day. Congratulations Graham!
We have just completed a fantastic weekend in Swanage that combined some great diving and social, with most of us camping out for the Friday and Saturday night. As the last weekend of the Swanage Carnival there was a great atmosphere and definitely one to consider for next year. Also one of the best dives I have ever done on the Kyarra!

After some uncertainty, the weather did us proud for the summer BBQ. Special thanks go to head chef Antony Rodden together with chief buyer and logistics manager Roger Selwyn and a number of others who helped out to make this a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to those of you who emailed in after the event to express your thanks and compliment the club on a great evening.
It was also great to see a number of the Reading SAC guys there. We charged a nominal fee for guests which was donated to the RNLI.
